Intro
The Vikeri A1 trail camera has a 120° wide-angle lens and motion sensor that captures photos and videos with a 0.2s trigger time. In addition, the Vikeri A1 game camera has a 940nm no-glow illumination so that it won't scare away your game. The A1 cam is equipped with a low-noise Sony EXMOR IMX377 sensor and produces high-quality daytime images. However, nighttime and low-light photos and videos are of sub-par quality. While the camera has a door latch locking option, the camera is missing a cable lock option. Like most trail cameras, the Vikeri A1 camera takes daytime images in color, and nighttime photos and videos are black and white. The game camera can record videos with sound. The camera is waterproof and dustproof, so you can use it when it's raining or snowing outside. However, the info bar is unnecessarily large and covers a substantial chunk of the image. The Vikeri A1 camera comes included with a 32GB micro-sd memory card. The Vikeri A1 camera also comes with four AA alkaline batteries, which makes no sense as the camera needs eight batteries to run. The A1 model does not have wifi or wireless capabilities.
Pros

Camera Ratings
Detection Range: 12/20
The detection range is just average and around 50 to 60 feet.
Speed: 2/10
The manufacturer lists the camera trigger at only 0.2 seconds; however, the video recording is super slow. Often, the animal is almost gone from view before the camera starts recording.

Accuracy: 3/10
The A1 models from Vikeri are heavily inclined to false triggers when deployed in the open. Therefore, we had no choice but to relocate our two units to wooded areas better protected from the wind.
Battery Life: 5/10
Design: 8/20
Verdict: 45/100

Questions & Answers
The nighttime videos are now reported as "not compatible with quicktime player" despite the fact that videos are recorded during the daytime and initially, night as well. Whats the deal. Bob.
