Intro
The Browning Dark Ops Full HD is an entry-level compact trail camera model from the sub-micro series featuring an invisible nighttime IR Illumination. The Dark Ops Full HD can record up to two minutes of daytime and 20 seconds of B&W nighttime videos in 1080p full HD. In picture mode, the Dark Ops Full HD game camera can take up to eight multi-shot 22 MP pictures. The trigger speed is adjustable and will detect up to 80 feet. As with all sub-micro cameras from Browning, the Dark Ops Full HD only needs six AA batteries, and the battery level metering is compatible with alkaline, lithium, and rechargeable NiMH batteries.

Camera Ratings
Detection Range: 12/20
Compared to other Browning trail cameras, this model has a limited detection range of only 50-60 feet max even when set to 80 feet Motion Detection option.
Speed: 6/10
While the Dark Ops Full HD camera trigger speed is listed at only 0.135 seconds, we often see animals very close to the camera before the camera recording is triggered.
Accuracy: 7/10
The trigger accuracy is reasonably good, and we don't see too many false triggers.
Battery Life: 7/10
The battery life is good, but having only six batteries will require more frequent battery swaps.
Daylight Images: 3/10
Unfortunately, the daytime images are disappointing. The colors are dull and extremely grainy, even under good lighting.

Lowlight Images: 4/10
Like other game cameras, the Dark Ops Full HD will switch from full-color mode to black & white mode under low light and at night. Lowlight black and white images are slightly better than daylight images but still considerably grainy.

Night Images: 4/10
The RADIANT 4 invisible nighttime illumination will not spook wildlife and is not visible to human eyes. Unfortunately, the invisible flash is not as powerful as the traditional infrared illumination, and images from the Dark Ops Full HD are quite dark.

Design: 12/20
Verdict: 55/100
The Dark Ops Full HD is one of the entry-level game camera offerings from Browning, but still super expensive at $149.00 MSRP.
The nighttime illumination is underpowered, and daytime images are just subpar.
While the camera has a FULL HD in its name, other than the 1080p pixel size format, the image quality from this game cam is not worth the HD title.
Considering that you can get better performing models from Browning for not that much more, the inferior image quality is not worth the small savings you get with the Dark Ops Full HD.
